About the Tutor:
Tutor Melissa Paget is the owner and maker behind colourful jewellery brand, Cast & Clay.
She makes earrings and accessories from her home studio in Co Down, to inspire wearers
to feel cool and confident, always. Cast & Clay jewellery is carefully designed for
colour-loving, kind humans to add a fun statement to any outfit without compromising on
quality. Her instagram page @castandclay is a good place to look for samples of her work,
but this workshop will enable you to spin your own style on the finished product!
As a self-taught polymer clay artist, she has been perfecting the craft for four years and is
taking this opportunity to pass her love of the medium on to others. She finds working with
polymer clay relaxing - and less messy than traditional clay! - and hopes to inspire others to
get creative.
*ACCESSIBILITY* The building we rent is quite old. Unfortunately, this means that the door frames are quite narrow. Based on our measurements, a wheelchair will not fit nor is our toilet room large enough to accomodate a wheelchair. We apologise deeply as we wish to be accessible to all. Unfortunately, we are not in a position to make any structural changes to the building. If you use mobility aides and there is any way we can accommodate them so that you can enjoy our space, please let us know and we will do everything we can!
