Renting the Space
Do you need a space to run your workshops and classes or does your group need a meeting space? Do you want a catch up with friends, to celebrate a Birthday or have a craft Hen Party. We are only too happy to offer The Workshop Ballynahinch as a cosy, local spot.

What kind of groups do we host?
Meditation, private events, birthday parties, hen parties, floristry, painting, lino-printing, business advice, gardening demos - we have had a bit of everything!
For safety reasons, groups with children younger than 10 will be considered on a case by case basis depending on the activities to take place, but in general, we focus on activities for ages 10+.
Cooking demonstrations can sometimes be accommodated but bear in mind we do not have kitchen facilities - only a kettle, microwave, small fridge, and washing up basins. Anything that would involve smokiness can't be allowed due to the confines of the space and retail products on display that could be infused with smells.
Otherwise, the only groups we wouldn't allow are those who would discriminate against others. If your group is not open to all, we cannot open our doors to you. If you are aligned with hateful speech or practices towards any group of people, please do not apply.
We also ask for no glitter to be used in the space. It's bad for the environment and a pain to clean up!
Ticket Sales & Promotion
If you are booking the space to run a workshop you have the choice of us selling the tickets on our website or if you want to sell your own tickets.
If tickets are being listed on The Workshop website, provide us with photos and listing information that we can upload on our tickets page.
If selling your own tickets, you are welcome to provide us with a photo and link to where people can buy your tickets, we will list the event on our website info page and help promote on our social media.
You can also mark us as a collaborator on your Instagram posts to help spread the word. @theworkshopballynahinch

Payment to secure booking is by BACS. This information will be provided on the invoice sent once we have confirmed availability and suitability for your booking request.
Cancellation Policy
Less than 48 hours notice = 0% refund
48 hours or more = 90% refund
This policy applies to each session within a group of bookings, if applicable.
And if we need to cancel the room hire, for whatever reason, then obviously we will give you a full refund and let you know as soon as we can.
Accessability
The building we rent is quite old. Unfortunately this means that the door frames are quite narrow. Based on our measurements, a wheelchair will not fit nor is our toilet room large enough to accomodate a wheelchair. We apologise deeply as we wish to be accessible to all. Unfortunately, we are not in a position to make any structural changes to the building.

We are located in Ballynahinch Town Centre. On the roundabout as you head out the road to Newcastle.
